Playsport London, sailing sessions for London residents.

Powerboat, safety boat, dinghy sailing, kayaking, canoeing and raft permit courses for 2010 are now in the diary.
Water temperature is now 1 C, so wet suits (provided) or dry suits (yours) are compulsory.

Level 1 & 2 Powerboat or Safety boat courses are run throughout the year on demand.
Adult Beginner Sailing Levels 1 or 2 from 3rd April - October. Youth courses mostly in school holidays from 5th April.
Advanced courses - Start Racing OR Spinnakers - 13th & 20th March
Traditional Raft Building 21st February
Dragon Boat Helm Course or Club Coach Course Wednesday 7th April
Kayak & Canoeing
1 or 2 star course at Easter
Basic Navigation & Safety theory course 27th February & 6th March

 RYA Training Centre
The RYA are the main people in the UK, who look after standards, for sailing, power, etc. They have annual, and spot checks during the season to see that the standards are maintained to their level of quality. Look for the RYA sign, it lets you know you will be getting the best training available, by qualified and competent instructors. |
